“CardboardFisher” - Branding
The following are deliverables from an ongoing personal project to create a brand for my social media to advertise myself as an artist under the name “CardboardFisher”. The platforms I primarily use the assets for are Twitter - where I actively maintain an audience of 2000+ followers for my illustration work.
For my personal brand, I have a large focus on high fantasy, TTRPG, and colour. I personally use a lot of bright, appealing shapes, textures, and colour within my work and I wanted my branding to reflect that.
Logo & Watermark Design
The below design is intended for use as a logo to identify my brand ‘CardboardFisher’ with. I also wanted a logo that could be used as an aesthetically pleasing watermark to place on my work without distracting the viewer from the actual illustration.
In my final design, I elected for a minimalist, readable logo that I could easily alter the colour of whenever needed.
Poster Designs
Through social media, I often hold raffles or advertise my paid work. However, that can present a lot of challenges (ie: algorithims not working in my favour, users scrolling through and not giving my work a second glance). To combat this, I decided to create fun, colourful, and eyecatching posters to use as advertisement.
Each poster had to stand on its own as posting multiple images at once could lead to cropping issues. They also had to quickly and clearly convey the information while also displaying examples of my illustration work. I also personally elected to make each poster visually similar by using the same fonts and colours so that people familiar with my work could easily recognise me at a glance.
